Grade 5/6 have a quiz on AR verbs on WEDNESDAY APRIL 28th
Grade 7 has a quiz on ER/IR verbs on WEDNESDAY APRIL 28th
Grade 8 has a quiz on ER/IR verbs on FRIDAY APRIL 30th

Just a reminder that you will be working on your research presentations IN CLASS this week. The finished project will be due on Monday April 26th and we will be presenting them in class that week.
Also – please remember to keep up with your service hours!! They will be due the first week in June!!

The “Menu” Project for Spanish class will be due on THURSDAY March 11 since you do not have Spanish on the 11th because of your field trip. Please make sure you include the following:
- a title for your restaurant
- at least 10 food/beverage items
-prices for your food
- pictures

Our class retreat is coming up this Friday, February 26th! Here is the information you need to know:
- Please be dropped of by 8am at the Parish Center.
-Please bring a snack!
-We are attending 12pm Mass at the church. Your parents are welcome to join us.
-Please be picked up at 12:30 at the Parish Center. If you go to After Care, your parents must make arrangements to get you from church to school.

This Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent! We will be discussing this church season in religion class this week as well as continuing our discussion of the Sacraments. Please remember that we have Mass on Wednesday for Ash Wednesday
Also- please remember to bring in your $3 for supplies for our retreat coming up on Feb. 26th. I will send more details home this week

Your Mission: Choose a quote from the selection below and relate it to your service project. If you wish, you may find a quote of your own choosing. Your essay must include the following:
1) A description of your service project- what you did, where you went, who you worked for etc…
2) The quote you chose
3) A detailed explanation of how this quote relates to you project. You could describe what you have learned, how your perspective has changed, which Catholic Social Justice principle relates to your project etc…
4) At least 4 paragraphs (each paragraph has at least 5 sentences)

Welcome back and happy 2010!! This week we will be studying the miracles that are described in the New Testament. You will have a quiz coming up on TUESDAY JANUARY 12th. I will give you more information towards the end of the week. You will not have any homework this week other than to begin studying the miracles we discuss in class so that you are familiar with them for your quiz. Have a fantastic week!!!
